Staci Seed is a Certified Functional Health Coach. She received her training from the Institute for Functional Medicine, which encompasses the evidence-based principles of Functional Medicine, positive psychology, functional nutrition and mind-body medicine all within a coaching framework to help create positive changes in the lives of her clients. Staci has a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics and has spent most of her working years in the clinic and supplement space with Integrative and Functional Medicine physicians and practitioners. She is also the co-host of a health and wellness podcast "The Digestible Podcast," a mom to four boys, cancer survivor and lover of farmers markets and beaches.
As a certified clinical nutritionist, Karen's passion is to help people feel good both physically and emotionally. Since starting her career more than twenty years ago, she has helped over 15,000 people along the path to long-term health and wellness. Her unique background in both clinical and functional nutrition, in conjunction with the culinary arts, sets her apart in a field that is infiltrated with trends, fads and unhealthy diets that yield little long-term results.
Karen's unique approach to nutrition is centered on her holistic approach to health. She has a knack for educating individuals in the science of nutrition in an entertaining and easy to comprehend way. She prides herself on being a "practical" nutritionist who understands the challenges that her clients experience around eating healthfully and takes the "start where you are at" philosophy which allows anyone to benefit. Additionally, Karen's lifelong passion for wellness allows her to help patients best incorporate easy, fresh, healthy ideas into their daily lives through recipes, meal planning and mind-body suggestions.
